Seven Leagues is a leather innovation company & fish leather tannery.

We’re developing clean, strong and beautiful commercial wholesale fish leather and prototyping a distinctive style of durable, timeless, unisex ankle boot with an outdoorsy Pacific Northwest vibe.

This leather is created from waste in the fishing industry, tanned with waste from the forestry sector. An urban workforce, including some with barriers to employment, will be trained to tan the leather for local manufacture, under the leadership of our Director of Tannery Operations. The boots will support and promote the tannery, building the market for fish leather by demonstrating the strength, adaptability, and beauty of this product.
